I am a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Coach, extensively trained in HeartMath Techniques, and a Clear Your Beliefs Practitioner. I specialize in creating an island of safety for people to do the necessary work to turn their trauma into triumph.

I began my work as a child therapist addressing behavioral problems at home and school. I found that much of what I had learned academically didn’t seem to work for a growing number of children. Thus began years of research and training in child development, attachment, neuroscience, and trauma. This journey led me to grow both personally and professionally. Transforming my trauma into triumph allowed me to become a healing presence and guide for others.

My youngest client has been two years old and my oldest was one hundred and four. What all ages share in common were experiences they carried from unexpressed, unprocessed, and unintegrated trauma. I was privileged to bear witness to these unspoken experiences locked away and in the presence of an island of safety, they found understanding, relief, and peace with themselves.

Healing trauma is a difficult journey and as I’ve experienced well worth the freedom it brings. It is exciting to see people grow beyond trauma and reconnect to possibilities.

Over the years my company, Country Pathways, PLLC has grown to include counseling, workshops, self-published books, paintings, and Life and Parent Coaching.  I became certified as a Belief Detective Coach and trained in many aspects of HeartMath.
